Welcome to MOOFJE! My name is Laurens, and I’m the founder of this company. I’ve always been inspired by the innovation and design of VanMoof bikes. The way VanMoof disrupted the e-bike market is nothing short of phenomenal, bringing together awesome technology and a design that make people turn their heads. In fact, I owned the very first VanMoof model ever produced.

It was unfortunate to see such an innovative company go bankrupt, especially with a product that had so much potential to revolutionize urban mobility. That’s why I started MOOFJE – to ensure these incredible bikes can continue to be enjoyed for years to come.

With a background in finance (I completed my master’s degree in the field), I’ve combined my technical skills and business knowledge to create a company focused on refurbishing and repairing VanMoof bikes. My goal is to give these bikes a second life while making sustainable cycling more accessible to everyone.
