I have a background in Finance, but after VanMoof's bankruptcy in 2023, I saw something bigger than numbers. Thousands of riders (including me) were suddenly left without support — while many bikes were still perfectly fixable.
I started helping friends, and later more riders. Not with a big business plan — simply because people were stuck and needed help. Those repairs quickly grew into Moofje.
Today, Moofje focuses on repairing, revising and selling refurbished VanMoof S3 and X3 bikes. We work with quality, transparency and speed — as if it were our own bike.
My goal is simple: keep good bikes on the road and help people ride with confidence again. You're always welcome to visit us in Amsterdam for advice, repairs, or a straight talk about your bike.
